PID Control

PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control is a control algorithm that continuously adjusts an output to bring a measured value (such as flow, temperature or pressure) to its set point.

PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) control is a control algorithm that continuously adjusts an output to bring a measured value (such as flow, temperature or pressure) to its set point. It reacts to the size of the error, its accumulation and its rate of change.

Keeping the flow of a belt scale or the temperature of an oven constant is done with PID control.
