A stationary micro dosing unit is an automation system that doses small quantities of raw materials and additives with high precision, repeatability and control. Especially in production processes where additive ratios are critical, it provides reliable dosing while minimizing operator errors.
The system works according to recipes created on the SCADA or operator panel, and the products and dosing quantities defined in the recipe are managed automatically. The stationary micro dosing unit is permanently located under the designated hopper or silo, so dosing is carried out without manual handling.
Operating Principle
Each micro ingredient is dosed into the weigh vessel or directly into the process via its own hopper and dosing equipment (micro screw, vibratory feeder, etc.). Integrated load cells monitor weighing in real time. When the target weight is reached, feeding stops automatically. The dosed values are recorded and the next ingredient is started automatically.
Automation and Control
Stationary micro dosing units are PLC-controlled and monitored via an operator panel or SCADA system. Through the system you can easily manage:
• Recipe-based dosing sequence
• Target and tolerance settings
• Automatic / manual operating modes
• Alarm and error notifications
• Batch and production reports
Advantages
• High dosing accuracy and repeatability
• Minimal operator intervention
• Suited to fast, continuous production
• Recipe-based, traceable dosing
• Compact, well-organized system design
Applications
Stationary micro dosing units are widely used in food, chemicals, paints, plastics, masterbatch and similar industries, in all applications that require reliable dosing of micro additives and sensitive ingredients.
