Fully Automatic Four-Drum Filling Machine

The fully automatic four-drum filling machine is an industrial filling system that fills liquid and semi-viscous products into four drums at the same time with high speed, precision and safety. Designed for high-capacity production lines, it minimizes operator intervention and increases efficiency and repeatability.
Depending on the process, filling is controlled by weight (load cells), volume (litres) or flow (flow meter). Each filling station is monitored and controlled independently. As the target approaches, the system uses two-stage filling (fast/slow) and automatic pre-cut algorithms to keep overfills and deviations to a minimum.

Operating Principle

Empty drums are brought to the filling station automatically by a conveyor system and positioned simultaneously at the four filling positions. When filling starts, the product is transferred into the drums by the pump and valve group. When each drum reaches its target quantity, its filling line closes automatically. After filling, the drums are conveyed to the next stage (capping, leak testing, labeling, etc.).

Automation and Control

Fully automatic four-drum filling machines are PLC-controlled and managed via an operator panel or SCADA system. Through the system you can easily handle:
• Separate filling set points for each line
• Fast / slow filling settings
• Pump and valve control
• Tolerance, alarm and safety functions
• Real-time production tracking and reporting

Advantages

• High capacity by filling four drums at once
• High filling accuracy and repeatability
• Low operator requirement thanks to fully automatic operation
• Reduced overfills and product losses
• Compatibility with different drum sizes and types
• Easy integration with conveyor, capping and labeling systems

Applications

Fully automatic four-drum filling machines are used reliably in the chemicals, petrochemicals, paints, oils, food and similar industries, in all production plants that require high-volume drum filling.
