Loss-in-Weight

Loss-in-weight feeding calculates the actual flow rate by measuring how quickly the weight of a hopper on a scale decreases.

Loss-in-weight feeding calculates the actual flow rate by measuring how quickly the weight of a hopper on a scale decreases. The feeder speed is adjusted continuously based on this measurement.

Because it doses very precisely and continuously even when material density changes, it is preferred in plastics, chemicals and food processes.
